Subaru EJ20 Billet Block Guards – Pair

A pair of precision-machined Subaru EJ20 block guards, designed to provide additional support around the cylinder bores of the EJ20 open-deck engine block.

The EJ20's open-deck design leaves the upper section of the cylinder liners relatively unsupported. On engines operating at increased boost and cylinder pressures, additional bore support can be beneficial when building an engine for higher-performance applications.

These aluminium block guards are machined specifically to follow the shape of the EJ20 block and fit around the cylinder bores, helping to support and stabilise the upper cylinder walls while retaining the necessary coolant passages.
